Volunteer

We are currently seeking Board of Directors & Supervisory Committee volunteers to help guide the Credit Union into the future. It’s easier to get involved than you may think. Review the details that follow to learn more about this opportunity to be a part of our cooperative efforts.

Board of Directors

The basic duties include: meeting the needs of the people you serve, setting policies that guide our credit union, writing, maintaining, and updating a strategic plan that outlines the long-range goals for our organization’s growth and development as well as ensuring that Industrial CU has adequate finances and that the money is being spent responsibly.

Each year three positions are open for re-election, each consisting of a three-year term. The time commitment averages 10 to 15 hours per month. Experience in, and knowledge of, strategic planning, finance, budgeting, marketing, personnel and management is desired.

Supervisory Committee

Supervisory Committee is responsible to keep fully informed as to the financial condition of the Credit Union; to cause to be made annually a complete examination of the cash, the Credit Union accounts, including income and expense, the members’ accounts in accordance with rules adopted by the Supervisory Committee; and to report its findings and recommendations to the Board and make an annual report to the members at the Annual Meeting.

Each year one position is open for re-election; position consists of a three-year term. The time commitment averages 5-7 hours per month. A background in accounting or finance is highly desired.
