Truck Bucks

Truck Bucks are the event currency of the Food Truck Round Up. Truck Bucks are used to make purchases at the food trucks, beer garden and merchandise area.

Vendors (including beer, wine & cider) will not accept cash or debit/credit. You must purchase Truck Bucks in order to purchase food and beverages. Truck Bucks are available on-site, but it is recommended that you purchase your entry tickets and Truck Bucks in advance at any Industrial Credit Union location. Due to the popularity of this event, purchasing your Truck Bucks in advance will save you time in line. Entry tickets and Truck Bucks are on sale now at all Industrial CU locations.

Truck Bucks are available for purchase in increments of $5. $5 in Truck Bucks is equivalent to $5 USD. So if a food truck normally charges $7 for a sandwich, you should expect to see the same sandwich costing $7 Truck Bucks at this event. Food trucks round their prices to the closest dollar.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many Truck Bucks should I purchase?

That depends on how much you think you’re likely to eat and/or drink. Most food trucks have entrees between $6 and $10, with sides/small plates in the $1-$5 range. Beers are $4 each in the beer garden. So if you get an entree for $8, a side for $4 and 2 beers, you would need $20 in Truck Bucks.

What if I don’t use all of the Truck Bucks I purchase?

You can either donate them to the great cause we’re raising money for – Whatcom County Food Banks – or turn them in for a refund when you leave the event.
