During the pandemic several organizations in Whatcom County adjusted their programs and offerings to address emerging community needs. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Whatcom County was one of those organizations.
In 2020 Industrial donated in support of the Boys & Girls Clubs’ Project Connect which helped provide high-speed Internet access and healthy meals to kids in Whatcom County as families adjusted to remote learning. In 2021 Industrial helped sponsor additional Boys & Girls Clubs STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) programming to support local students during an what proved to be an unpredictable pandemic school year.
This year, as Whatcom County students return to in-person classes, Industrial is proud to support Boys & Girls Clubs’ Project L.A.N.E. -an innovative approach to holistic learning that addresses Lifestyle, Attitude, Nutrition and Exercise. Project L.A.N.E. gives program participants the tools they need to build and maintain personal resiliency in support of academic and personal success.
As a credit union we’re dedicated to providing our members and community with the financial services they need to thrive. We’re proud to extend that philosophy by helping local children build skills that will help them thrive both personally and academically for years to come.
